Cartographer: MapQuest mapsMapQuest logo

On MapQuest, choose maps (and size) you wish to get into your Palm.

Save the map on your PC. Right click on the map and use the Save Picture As... option.

If your maps are not stored in .jpg, .gif or .bmp formats, convert them to these format using a graphics tool such as PaintShop pro. PaintShop pro can also export color maps to gray scale or black and white maps if needed. See details in the PainShop Pro section.

To integrate this map to your Palm database, run Cartographer, hit the Add button, and select the map file you just created.

Because MapQuest does not provide the latitude and longitude of any coordinates of their maps, you can not calibrate your map on your PC using Cartographer, You will need to calibrate this map on your Palm using Atlas, Tracker or Fly.

Save your database by selecting the menu File-Save or the icon Save.
Then, install the Palm database created (.pdb file) in your Palm using the Palm HotSync tool.
